    British, 1972, Minton mark at base with, "John Player & Sons/Horizon/1st November 1972," 4-3/4 in.
    John Player & Sons Tobacco commissioned Minton to create these cigarette jars and gave one to each employee at the opening of their new Horizon factory in Nottingham at the aforementioned date of opening. The factory closed in 2016. An info card is included.
